Like green tea, Black tea is picked from a plant called Camellia sinensis. Black tea leaves steeped in such a way that gives it a dark color when brewed. Unlike green tea, antioxidants present in black tea is lost after processing.

However, that does not mean that black tea does not have efficacy for health. Black tea also has many useful benefits for the body.

Drinking a cup of black tea a day can help moisturize the skin. Black tea can also balance hormone levels, so that it can reduce stress. Black tea also can maintain the level of cholesterol in the body thereby reducing the risk of stroke.

Black tea is low in caffeine content which beneficial for blood circulation. There is one part of black tea called fluoride. Fluoride helps maintain oral and bone health. Black tea also contains flavonoids like those found in apples. This compound is not only helps to fight bacteria, but also strengthens the immune system.

Tea waste also can be used to reduce swelling in the eyes. Store black tea bags in the refrigerator and then massage it around the eye area.
